This page is all about our wonderful Dish Gardens & Planters!
We design and plant them ourselves. We first find or create planters
that inspire us to make something beautiful and that is easy to maintain.
All of our gardens can be grown indoors or out in our climate. Morning
sun and afternoon shade, a good healthy drink weekly, drying out in between
waterings, more in bright light, less in shade, and you are all set.
If you do not live here, just ask us and we will advise you
according to your climate.
We make all our own hypertuffa,
so if you do not see the shape, size or color you were wanting
just ask. We do special orders on most everything!
We do, however, need 2-3 months lead time on making the hypertuffa.

Soils & Fertilizer
We make our own soil mix, as we do not like any commercially produced product on the market to date!
We devised our own mix that works wonderfully on succulents and just by adding more sand works on cactus also! We use a top rate organic compost as our base and add sand and pumice for drainage. Then we add bone meal for root stimulation, then earthworm castings and organic slow release fertilizer does the rest!
