This family is very close to my heart.
It is not nearly utilized enough for my tastes. It is so diverse, in that there are hard, and soft or windowed haworthias. There are probably ones even I am not even aware of.
Hard haworthias can be grown inside, even an office setting, or outside as long as they are not in full sun. Try a covered patio, under a shade tree, whatever you have, just protect them from frost. Water them every 7 to 10 days thoroughly, more in the summer, less in the winter.
If living in wet or humid states, less is better.
In dry states, more is better, when it comes to watering,
just do not rot their roots. It might take a little bit to get it just right.
Here, we pick one day a week we can remember and water well, no teasing.
These plants are succulents, not cactus!
Remember All Cactus are Succulents, but not all Succulents are Cactus!
When in doubt, just ask...............
Soft haworthia are usually windowed but not always.
Window Haworthias are translucent, as to appear like it has a window.
There are several varieties of window haworthia.
We grow over 20 varieties of haworthias on a fairly regular basis,
half of which are window varieties.
Below is a picture album with sizes and prices.
